Frequently Asked Questions
What is your cancellation policy?
We require 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment. Cancelled or rescheduled appointments with less than 24 hours notice will be charged a cancellation fee of half the lesson charge. Sometimes we are able to find another student to take your appointment time. In that case, we do not charge a cancellation fee.
Do you tutor any non-math subjects?
Yes! We tutor a variety of non-math subjects including Physics, Computer Programming (C++, HTML & Web Design, etc.), English, & SAT Verbal!
Do you have background checks done on your tutors?
Yes, all of our tutors have a background check performed prior to tutoring for MathBusters.
Do you offer group tutoring sessions?
Yes! We have special discounted group rates, please contact us for details!
Are you hiring tutors?
We are always looking for the right talent to join the MathBusters team. We would especially like to hear from tutors skilled in chemistry and statistics who are based in the Tampa Bay Area, but all applicants will be considered.
